We live in an integrated world. Capabilities that were once split between your Walkman, your car phone, your Canon (News - Alert) and your Gameboy are now available in one small, handheld package. Now we have devices that are computers and televisions and entire libraries of books all in one package; we expect all of our technology to be integrated, and our cars are no exception to that desire.
Now, to meet the increasing demand for connected vehicles, Sprint (News - Alert) has debuted a global, end-to-end solution that delivers a pioneering mobile integration capability to auto manufacturers. The solution, dubbed Sprint Velocity, will be highlighted at the LA Auto show this week in California.
Sprint Velocity helps automakers integrate complex components and vendor relationships required to provide advanced connected services, including news, weather, sports, security, navigation, connectivity to mobile devices and emergency services, and engine diagnostics.
