Embedded M2M Solutions - Pitney Bowes to Develop Geospatial, Location Intelligence, BI Solutions with SAP HANA Platform

Also Pitney Bowes is expected to develop new business intelligence (BI) and mobile solutions that are based on SAP HANA. These solutions will be marketed by Pitney Bowes in global markets serving the needs of major industries. SAP HANA ensures optimum location intelligence, agility and simplification that will enable Pitney Bowes to deliver real-time access to data for the benefit of customers who can use it for making strategic and informed decisions.

SAP technologies help businesses to converge databases and use application platforms to transform transactions, analytics, text analysis, as well as predictive and spatial processing so that businesses can operate optimally in real time.

The location intelligence capabilities offered by Pitney Bowes solutions can detect valuable relations between specific locations and data, which can be leveraged to improve the customer experience and hence customer loyalty.

According to officials, Pitney Bowes will bundle and sell SAP HANA licenses with its Spectrum (News - Alert) Spatial product. The solution will enable telecommunications companies to expand coverage areas profitably while consumer product companies can build their supply chain processes. In any industry, when new solutions are developed and introduced, greater choice and flexibility will be provided to clients.

Recently SAP announced new customer relationship management or CRM solutions to meet the needs of customers.
