Embedded M2M Solutions - Getting Charitable with Mobile Point of Sale Solutions

An event from Sprint (News - Alert) Retail M2M Solutions taking place today will focus on how organizations can do good. At its executive briefing center—located on the Sprint headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas—Sprint is offering an informational technology showcase on how to use mobile point of sale (mPoS) technology for charitable works, including donation collection and using mPoS, wireless forms and fleet tracking solutions to raise awareness of the ability for the latest technology to enhance workflow and constituent relations for non-profits.

When it comes to the latest retail and fleet solutions and technology, machine-to-machine (M2M), and mPoS, these tools enable organizations to develop new service-based propositions, operate donation generation more efficiently and increase customized customer interaction.

At this breakfast and technology showcase event, attendees will hear from Tim Fahey, president of Dirigo Agency, who will demonstrate how he used am mPoS app to gather donations quickly and securely at two recent gatherings for the Rockville Science Center.

Relying on mobile solutions like Sprint’s Vantiv mPoS (tablet-based point of sales) helps in these instances by saving time and money—all through optimizing processes. Cost saving remains one of the primary drivers for businesses to adopt mPoS and streamlined forms of solutions, and when it comes to charity, saving when it comes to giving is the bottom line.

These technologies have helped organizations like Penny Lane Social Services by integrating mobile right into what they do, and Sprint will cover how and when organizations can customize processes like electronic forms and using tablets for point-of-sale functions to take donations on the fly.
